Before the start of the Rallye Cœur de France this weekend, Renault Sport Racing unveils the calendar of the Clio Trophy France that will succeed the Clio R3T Trophy France beginning next year.

Presented to the public for the first time in the Vendôme service park, New Clio Rally will make its competitive debut in the Clio Trophy France, which will maintain all the qualities that made the Clio R3T Trophy France the success it was.

Derived from the Clio R.S. Line and powered by a 1330cc, 4-cylinder TCe engine developing 180 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque, the new version will compete on six headliner rounds of the FFSA French Asphalt Rally Championship, allowing the crews to battle on equal footing on some of the finest roads in France.

The season will kick-off in mid-May in Antibes before heading to the Vosges, then the Aveyron before the summer break. The Rallye Cœur de France in early autumn will mark the return to action prior to the long-awaited return for a feeder series organized by Renault Sport Racing in the Cévennes. Sticking to tradition, the Rallye du Var will close out the season in November.

To maintain a stable competitive environment, Renault Sport Racing will renew its generous prize programme through start, loyalty and result bonuses at each round.

Renault Sport Racing will continue to reward the best in the general classification as well as the best Juniors (up to 28 years of age) and Gentlemen (more than 45 years of age) while also helping female drivers, who will enjoy free entry for the entire season.

New initiatives will also spice up the competition with the launch of the Renault Dealers and Teams Trophies as well as the introduction of the Power Stage while the first Clio Trophy France champion will be offered an official rally programme for 2021.
