The 11 years of the World Series by Renault by the numbers…
The World Series by Renault was quickly adopted by the motor racing community while also winning over an ever increasing fan base. After 11 years of races, demonstrations, the spawning of talent and passion, the adventure continues in 2016 under a new format, but still as close to the public as ever. Now the time comes to let the numbers do the talking about what has been an extraordinary journey.
0 : Price of tickets to attend nearly all the World Series by Renault meetings, attracting the curious and appreciated by spectators.
1 : Unique concept mixing world-class races, F1 and vintage car demonstrations and activities. Renault was the first to make motor racing more accessible than ever before.
2 : Couple formed by Renault Sport Technologies and RPM Racing who created an incomparable show for countless spectators for 11 years.
3 : Drivers who won two titles (Robin Frijns, Albert Costa and Oscar Nogués).
4 : Maximum number of championships in the World Series by Renault having shared the track at the same meeting (from 2011-2013).
