FUN INSIDE AND OUT
A compact hot hatch designed by Renault Sport to meet the specific requirements of the Latin American market, the Sandero R.S. 2.0 will receive its global launch at the 2015 Buenos Aires Motor Show.

The car features sporty lines and distinctive Renault Sport styling cues, which include an R.S.-badged grille ; a model-specific front bumper incorporating an F1-style blade ; LED daytime running lights ; extended side sills ; a rear bumper incorporating a diffuser and twin exhaust pipes ; and model-specific 16- or 17-inch alloy wheels. The interior is just as sporty thanks to R.S.-badging on the seats and steering wheel, which was designed with sporty driving in mind.

Like all Renault Sport models, the Sandero R.S. 2.0 boasts some impressive specs : a two-litre 150bhp engine hooked up to a six-speed close-ratio gearbox ; a stiffened sport chassis ; and model-specific tyres. Thanks to the R.S. Drive mode and disconnectable ESP, the Sandero R.S. 2.0 delivers a sporty, exhilarating drive ; a top track speed of 200kmh ; a 0-to-100kmh of 8.5 seconds ; and a 1km standing start of less than 30 seconds.

The Sandero R.S. 2.0 is infused with the DNA of Renault Sport, a marque that knows exactly how to project Renault’s passion for motorsport.

Designed by Renault Sport engineers working in tandem with their Brazilian and Argentinian colleagues and styled by the design office in Sao Paulo, the Sandero R.S. 2.0. is the first Renault Sport car to be made in Latin America, at Renault’s Curitiba plant in Brazil.

The new hot hatch will help Renault Sport reinforce its image in Latin America and contribute to Renault’s expansion in the region. Due to go on sale in Brazil in the last quarter of 2015, the Sandero R.S. 2.0 will become available in Mexico and Argentina in the first three months of 2016.
