Behind the scenes at the motorsport department in Dieppe
Based in Dieppe, the Alpine factory’s motorsport department is staffed by around 50 people who devote their energies to spare parts sales and the assembly of racing cars. Join us on a tour of this legendary site.
One month after giving you a close-up view of the Clio R.S. 200 EDC production line, we have another unique experience for you to enjoy as we take you behind the scenes at the Alpine factory’s motorsport department in Dieppe.
The motorsport spare parts department sells spares for race cars, provides customer support services at events and meetings and assembles racing cars at the Alpine site.
The department employs more than 50 people, who work in a number of different areas : purchasing, customer relations, logistics, assembly, spare parts sales at events and meetings, and technical support.
No fewer than four lorries travel across Europe offering comprehensive support services at World Series by Renault, Clio R3T European Trophy and Clio Cup races.
In 2014, the Dieppe motorsport department generated the following figures :
Exports accounted for more than 60 percent of sales.
350 suppliers managed.
More than 10,000 different parts in store.
70 Clio Cups.
30 Formula Renault 2.0s,
The Dieppe motorsport department also provides spare parts for vintage cars such as the A110, A310 and A610 as well as production spares and accessories.
